Metal drill with titanium nitride application
The application of titanium nitride (TiN) strengthens the drill blade, making the drill much longer. Manufactured by profile grinding from high-quality HSS steel with a hardness of 64-64 HRC. This provides a small value of axial and radial runout. Thanks to the alloy with the addition of 6% Tungsten and 5% Molybdenum, the drill is able to withstand high temperatures, and 4% Chrome and 2% Vanadium in the composition prevent drill corrosion, prolonging the life of the product. Cross-shaped sharpening angle 135 degrees, class accuracy A1. Designed for drilling holes in carbon and alloy steels, gray and ductile irons, non-ferrous metals and plastics.
